This is a podcast where two sisters, and sometimes a guest, rewatch movies they saw when they were kids and review them. With humour, sarcasm, and random tidbits of info, this is a great listen for anyone born in the 80s, anyone who loves movies, and anyone else whose family speaks complete sections of dialogue as part of their daily conversations.

‘Tis the holiday season! And this year it’s Lisa’s turn to pick the Christmas movie and oooh boy, has she chosen a random one this time! An obscure 90’s film beloved by the Brunnen family and no one else, will Pauline guess the mystery movie? Yes. Bu... more
The sisters’ delve into one of their favourite animated films growing up: Disney’s 1998 adaptation of Mulan. The action! The adventure! The comic relief! Will this 90’s American interpretation of a Chinese legend withstand the test of time? Maybe. Wi... more
Pauline could not be more excited with the movie she’s picked for this week! And Lisa could not be more ready to guess what it is. How long until the mystery title is revealed? Not long. Will there still be quotes and randomness and laughter along th... more

It’s as if Julia Child and Nora Ephron made a podcast. Lisa (Julia) and Pauline (Nora) have strong opinions, great chemistry (they’re sisters who clearly love each other so, duh) and they’re really funny. Lisa always has a laugh in her voice and Julia’s lovely flutey tones and Pauline has Nora’s wry and dry delivery, and is more deadpan. I couldn’t be more proud of these two great Canadians! Highly HIGHLY recommend.
10/10 recommend! These sisters are awesome!
Two sisters take us back to their favourite films from childhood in a time machine wrapped in a cozy blanket of nostalgia. The movie trivia episode, a prelude to the review episode, is clever and precise. Trivia does take a back seat to the sisters comedic banter and friendly competition. So funny!!
The movie breakdown episodes that follows the “triviasodes” seems a casual chat but there is a formula these movies need to live up to - such as the modern Bechdel test. (Look it up!) Sadly many fail... more
It’s not often one comes across a podcast that feels like sitting with long lost friends and inspires you to rewatch classic movies; Reel Window is exactly that kind of journey. Buckle up and track it, these girls are your new best friends.
A fun podcast about movies and nostalgia. It’s like having a conversation with your best friends, and the triviasodes are fun to play along with! Even as a non-cinephile, I like watching these movies (sometimes for the first time) with these ladies!
