If you could change the computerised voice to something more updated than 1990 that would be great! I find myself focusing on the annoying voice and I don’t even listen to the story or which story is which. I probably won’t listen much longer…
I wanted to try this show as I love Reddit stories but it read out the question in an obvious ai voice.
It used to be good but then they started to do only reruns
Don’t like the new host but got used to that slowly over time, would have been 4 stars otherwise, except recently they have decided to drop full episodes of other nonsense, unrelated podcasts multiple times per week. Having to constantly delete episodes in order to listen to my feed uninterrupted is infuriating
Update: the ads are incessant but otherwise ok, but now they have just dropped 2 months of reruns with no end in sight as far as I know. Unsubscribing
Since the original host sold the show, it’s gone downhill, the new narrator used a weird cadence in his reading, and posts more episodes from other shows than Reddit Readings.
ETA ITS GOTTEN WORSE!!!
Now all thats being posted is other shows, and reruns of old episodes, no more original content, or new fun stories, and if your find with listening to old stories you’ve already heard your going to have to listen to some stupid robot voice that is just grading to listen to.

A narrative-driven show that reads Reddit-origin stories with a focus on entertaining, funny, and occasionally eerie anecdotes. Episodes span everyday quirks, misadventures, and cautionary tales across a broad mix of Reddit threads, often featuring long-form narrations, sponsor reads, and light discussion interludes. Noteworthy is the consistent emphasis on accessibility and storytelling pace, with a recurring preference for clear, human narration over automated voices, and a mix of original posts and reruns that keeps longtime listeners engaged while attracting new fans of Reddit lore.
Potential listeners may appreciate straightforward, distraction-free storytelling, diverse topic coverage from household rules to wild reversals, and a rel... more
