大学時代に就職活動をしていた時、ある方の出産に立ち会ったことがきっかけで、”助産師”という職業を知ることになります。
「うまれる」というドキュメンタリー映画を通じて、出産や育児に関する問題に深く関わるようになり、その上映会チームに今の旦那が参加したことで彼に出会いました。
彼もまた、産婦人科や小児科に興味を持っていた医学生であり、経営者としての志も持っていました。
私たち夫婦には、共通の夢があり、クリニックを経営しながら地域の医療に貢献していきたいと思います。

前回、お子さんがお母さんたちに与える影響というのを少しお話さえていただいたのですが、子育ても同様で、親が育った環境や自己肯定感が子どもに与える影響というのは大きいです。
特に、育児に関してサポートであったり、ケアであったりが本当にこの教育っていうところにないなと実感しました。
なので、私自身、お母さんが自分らしく子育てができるように支援したいなと決意が生まれました。
母親自身が幸せであることが、家族全体の幸福につながると思います。

なぜ小児医療に興味を持つようになったのか？
きっかけは？
実際に子どもたちと接したことで私の中で変化していく価値観

本当に子どもたちの力ってすごいなと思います。
親御さんたちに対する純粋な思いに私は大きなギフトをもらいました。
そのギフトが今の私が助産師としても、産婦人科のクリニックを立ち上げるビジョンとしても大切にしている事かなと思います。

今回は、私自身、看護師であり助産師でもあることから、看護師と助産師の違いについてみなさまにお話していきます。
助産師は妊娠・出産の専門家であり、産婦人科での仕事が多いイメージがありますが、性教育や更年期のサポートなど、女性の一生に寄り添う職業です。
私自身は、一般的な経歴とは異なり、4年制大学を卒業後、一般企業に勤めた後に看護学生になりました。今後も私のお話を聞いていただくことで、自分の人生だったり、使命を振り返っていただける時間になれたらと思います。
