I don’t have addictions to drugs or alcohol, but I struggle with food, and I absolutely have idols in my life that I need to lay at the foot of the cross. My dad and brother are active addicts. I have found hope in this podcast. It’s been so good to hear directly from people in recovery. I especially appreciate George. Bill, I can’t forget you! Thanks for your humor and insights! These two gentlemen do it right. They, along with the guests focus more on what they did to start their recovery and what they continue to do on a daily basis. As addicts/alcoholics we all know the what happened and that we have problems. What I personally seek out is what others did or are doing to sustain their recovery and strengthen their relationship with God, I get that from this program.
