  • What took me so long to discover this?

As a mom of 4 grown kids I have no idea how I didn't discover this gem of a podcast sooner. I guess now it will have to serve as a great resource for my future grandkids!! Learning and sharing through books multigenerationally is one of the best ways we can connect with young readers. This podcast brings listeners closer to authors, the stories they tell and encourages shared experiences through books, the lessons they teach and the imagination that they ignite. Enjoy this podcast!

  • Great Podcast!

What's great about this podcast is how it reinforces the idea that a love of reading does not have to be shared just through children's books. Parents can read middle-grade and even YA with their kids and also share the excitement of a great story!

  • Entertaining and educational

Every book has a story behind how it came to be. This includes children’s books, which are so important in helping kids develop empathy, love, compassion, and even a sense of humor. This podcast celebrates the value of reading to our kids and the bond that experience creates while also sharing how some great children’s books went from an idea, onto the page, and into our homes.
