Though every other episodes are pretty good
I enjoy when background information is brought in and there ad hoc discussions about other issues from Star Trek. A few items that annoy me are Scott’s laughing at his own jokes and the “spoiler alert” warning. I think it is safe to say that your listeners have viewed the episode being discussed and if they haven’t watched it, then they should not be listening to that particular episode. I was a TNG-only guy for a long time, but this podcast has made me watch 3 more Star Trek series & counting. It’s a great outlet my excessive fan energy — few of my friends are into Star Trek at all, let alone at my level of enthusiasm, so Scott & Co feel like friends I can chat about Star Trek with. Even though I’m just listening, they hit so many of the points I’d want to bring up that it feels like I’m part of the conversation.
