So Dan & Al decided it was time once again to do yet another installment of the playlist! Featuring more Fates Warning, Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, Led Zeppelin, Dio, Witch's Witch, & Uriah Heep.
Al & I decided to answer a few random questions. Unfortunately at least two of them seemed to be traps to get us heat. So I've been sitting on this episode since May, debating with myself whether or not I should post it, which created a logjam.
Synopsis: Dan & Al discuss the recent big news that D&D is finally returning to these two classic settings!
A continuation of Dan & Al's gamer's playlist. Featuring Blue Oyster Cult, Blind Guardian, Deep Purple, Fates Warning (again), Black Sabbath, Manowar, & HammerFall.
Just a regular guy that loves dungeons and dragons.
Cool to listen to
Enjoying the podcast so far. Very knowledgeable hosts with plenty to say about the game that is worth listening to. Keep up the good work!
Edit in 2019: Finding his reviews really tough to listen to. He’s massively biased in favour of 1e/2e material, and fails to see WOTC products from any other lens than his own. His ratings skew quite low, so what most people give massive critical acclaim to, he’ll give a “low C” or something. His “best box since Keep on the Borderlands” review was a “B+”. Hu... more
I’ve been a fan of the show for years and I’m at a loss to describe Dan’s passion for the hobby. In an era where WoTC is not engaging with the fans on a serious level, Dan is bringing us news and reviews from current products and older editions. He puts serious time and effort into his show and there is no denying his passion for the hobby.
Cheers to you, Dan. Thank you for all your hard work. You’re an inspiration.
Put the show up. The whole thing. What the heck?
There is so much good in here, but it bugs me when hosts step all over each other’s ideas. I always imagine sitting at the gaming table with that one contrary player who’s so controlling that other players don’t get a chance to enjoy or explore the parts of the game they find interesting.
