I cannot recommend this podcast highly enough. It makes me so emotional. Professor Lumbard’s learned and heartfelt engagement with the Qur’an is exemplary and provides an accessible and incredibly enriching experience for those seeking a closer relationship with and deeper knowledge of Islam’s revealed scriptural text.
This is deep and meaningful and gives me more knowledge as a Muslim, I also find this podcast very open and should deserve more reviews and ratings! All in all, I rate it 5/5 because of its great explanation.
Please don’t start it with music❤️
Dr. Lumbard, an associate editor of The Study Quran, presents a series of approachable English language commentaries on the Islamic holy scriptures, the Qur’an, based on classical, traditional sources. Haven’t heard a better podcast on this topic. Highly recommended.
This podcast this is indispensable for English speaking Muslims seeking a profound understanding and exegesis of their holy book. It is also an excellent eye-opener to academics and non-Muslims who wish to immerse themselves in the traditional way Islam’s primary text has been understood and interpreted by its foremost exponents. Congratulations Dr Lumbard!
