Now that Tom is back to liking Robert Eggers movies, listen as he tries in vain to remember the man’s first name. Meanwhile, Kellywand wants listeners to weigh in on their opinion of Nosferatu’s longer term plans with Ellen. What kind of marriage did... more
We welcome neurosurgeon, wargamer, and cinematic dilettante Bruce Geryk to join us for a discussion of Alex Garland’s provocative [sic] political [sic] thriller [sic], Civil War! For an added bonus, this episode’s -opsis was written and performed by ... more
We’re still working on getting a regular schedule going, and even though this was meant to be a shorter episode specifically for the Dune II synopsis, we end up chatting about Denis Villeneuve’s next entry in the apparently ongoing saga of Timothee C... more

Want to see these dumb, whiny libs watch a Trump win in real time. Any way to make that happen? Oh noes fascism!! Haha
Not just my favorite movie podcast, but one of my favorites on any subject. In any given episode I will laugh (particularly at Kellywand’s synopsis) and I will learn something — usually another movie I’ll need to watch. Been listening to it for years and I still use it as a checklist of movies I need to see.
Given the catalog of episodes I figured this would be good. I made it 15 minutes into an episode and figured that's all the time I was willing to waste. I don't mind a podcast with moments of humor but the hosts were laughing and were more entertained with themselves than I was.
Anyone with even a passing interest in movies will love this. 3 friends who just love talking about movies; who makes them, how they do it, what they mean and what they mean to them personally. They're smart, incisive but also whimsical, but above all funny. Put those qualities together with a seemingly encyclopaedic knowledge of their passion and you're in for a great time every week. Thank you Tom, Christien and Kelly.
Constant disdain for republicans, BUT it is still a good podcast if you can tune that garbage out.
