戰鎚在每一次對的時機都會迎來所謂的新手大爆發，這次40K九版改版更是有感。每個新手在剛接觸戰鎚都是懷著滿腔熱誠，也都躍躍欲試。但相對的門檻很容易讓新手陣亡，或是在過門檻時候摔個鼻青臉腫。
比起其他遊戲來說，戰鎚一開始的學習曲線確實比較陡，能不能撐下去真的是要看自己的造化。但就我觀察，新手的「求生慾」其實都很高，只是缺少了好的方法來度過這個時期。
