《あらすじ》電話の主は山口太郎である。早速、太郎は、葉子の新居を訪ねてくる。太郎は葉子がハワイにいた時付き合っていた恋人だ。太郎の父親が経営する会社の後継者候補となり、太郎は日本へ帰ることになった。葉子も太郎を追って帰国した。太郎の両親は、葉子の存在を知らないが、太郎と葉子は新居で愛をはぐくみ、いずれは結婚することを夢見ている。
《あらすじ》引越センターを呼んだのは確かに葉子だった。大吉と節子の承諾を得ぬまま、強引に一人暮らしを始める魂胆だ。当然、大吉は大激怒。節子も冷静ではいられない。そんな両親をよそに、葉子はてきぱきと指示を出し、荷物を車に積んで出発する。引っ越し先のマンションで、葉子が荷解きをしていると電話が鳴った。
