An awkward and anxious young woman navigates loneliness, social situations, and the various shadows that stalk a city in Uganda. The production is spare and intimate, almost like you're listening to a diary. The show starts about Naka, and then branches out. Full of lore and superstition, this podcast has a way of sneaking up on you just when you let your guard down.
The podcast doesn't seem to be in production anymore. I'm writing this hoping to change that. I need more!

Amazingly beautiful, haunting and magical. If you love subtlety in your story telling and visually appealing audio storytelling, definitely give this a listen. The subtle horror of urban Kampala living when one is atomised speaks to the isolation of many African youths surviving the world they were given. The narrator successfully manages to convey that loneliness and fear against a backdrop of otherworldly and very worldly dangers in Kampala and its outlying boroughs. Amazing!
