中高時代、
科学同好会に所属していた。
部活動においてどこかに必ず所属しないといけない校風で、
運動にも文化にも興味のないいい加減な自分は、
活動回数の少なさと友達がいるという理由で選んだ。
科学と言いながらやっていることは化学だった。
僕は文系である。
高校生になってから担当の先生が変わり、
活動曜日が火曜日から土曜日に変わった。
土曜日は午前授業で終了のため、
校内の購買以外の買い出しが禁じられている学校においては弁当持参などが求められるのだが、

#Gログ に出演することが決まったときに、
朗読パートで3曲作ることにした。
ひとつは出演する前の心持ち。
ひとつは哲さんへの心持ち。
ひとつは出演した後の心持ち。
そうして少しずつ時間を掛けて作ったのだが、
今回のそれは書けば書くほど逸脱していった。
あまりにまとまらないため、
久しぶりにラララを使おうかと思うくらい煮詰まったのだが、
ラララを朗読するのはなんとしても避けたかったので、
必死にフレーズを考えた。

隙間がないと生きにくいよなあって話をつらつらと。
職場で年齢を尋ねる機会は年々減っているが、
先日珍しくそんな話題になって共有したところ、
またしても僕が一番年下ということが発覚した。
40年以上生きてもまだまだ下っ端だ。
やらないといけないことも忙しさにかまけてできておらず、
計画性もあったものじゃない。
こんなことがあと20年くらいつづくのかと思うと目眩もする。
時間的余裕がない状況は僕をどうにもこうにも擦り減らす。
改めて今日はお休みを取得してよかったなと思う。
