  • Boring

Sometimes I feel like they are talking about the same stuff a week later than it happens and it is just boring to hear old men talk

  • NBA

Given that the NBA sucks, putting a blow hard like Perkins on talking like a sixteen year old gang thug from the hood doesn’t help this rap league. I remember him waddling up and down the court being horrible in the league. Now he’s an authority - give me a break knuckle mouths.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What's next for LeBron after being swept by the Thunder?
Q: Wilbon, what does this sweep say about the Thunder, and where does it leave LeBron and the Lakers?
Wilbon argues that the Thunder showed a polite ruthlessness, closing out the series despite any Lakers momentum, and he discusses potential destinations or next steps for LeBron while noting the uncertainty around his future.
Should the NBA have suspended LaMelo Ball?
Q: What does this mean for the league's enforcement of penalties in similar situations?
They suggest that future penalties should balance fairness and deterrence, potentially including a one-game ramp or a similar impactful sanction to set a clear precedent.
Should the NBA have suspended LaMelo Ball?
Q: Should Ball have been suspended according to the hosts?
Initially uncertain, the hosts shift to support a suspension under the logic of intent and impact, ultimately leaning toward a one-game penalty to preserve competitive integrity, even at the cost to Charlotte.
Did Ovechkin Play His Last Game?
Q: Wilbon, do you think Ball should have been ejected for the ankle grab?
The hosts and Windhorst leans suggest there should have been a harsher penalty, with discourse that a flagrant foul would have been appropriate and a potential injury risk acknowledged.
Who has the BEST chance to win the Masters?
Q: Which players are being watched most closely for potential Masters success, and why?
Players like Scottie Scheffler are watched for potential multiple Masters wins, Rory McIlroy is noted for past glory but questions about current motivation persist, and Brooks Koepka and Jon Rahm are highlighted for their experience and form, though recent rounds have introduced some volatility.
