Looking for sports psychology podcasts to help my 15 yr. Old daughter regain confidence in basketball. This has some good guidance on dealing with fear and working to eliminate fear in competition. I can use the counsel to apply to my life too. Hopefully my daughter will like this podcast! I also listened to the show about setting goals and it’s perfect because the example is basketball! I’ll keep tuning in.
i only recently started listening to this podcast, but i’ve found it super helpful! thanks ryan!
So glad I stumbled across this podcast. The discussions - ranging from confidence, to visualization, to self talk, and beyond - have made a noticeable difference in my snowboarding. The host makes all the topics feel approachable and relatable and gives actionable tips you can easily put into practice. I would recommend to anyone looking to improve in any sport.
I have two teens in competitive sports. This is a great resource for their mental training! The topics are relevant and explained clearly and in an engaging manner. My only complaint is the sound quality. It is hard to hear sometimes, especially when we listen in the car. Other than that, it’s super helpful. Keep up the great work!
I compete in submission grappling. This podcast has been great to help me get back into the proper mindset after dealing with losses or when stepping up in competition. If you are an athlete, listen to this podcast!
