  • Good News

I landed on this podcast after re-listening to David Legge’s 2009 sermon, ā€œGod’s New Thingā€ (well worth a listen). The ā€˜Praise Time’ podcasts are timely and God-given messages at a time when many of us, like myself, need to be spoon fed this encouragement to get through the world’s current heaviness. In this difficult time God is working, and David Legge has his finger on Father God’s heartbeat and is a bearer of Good News as we stand still and wait on God’s New Thing.

Every time I listen to one of David's sermons, I feel as if I have been served a thick steak!

When no one else wants to deal with a "difficult" passage, I find that I can trust that he will not ignore or gloss over it but will dig in with his expository backhoe, his confidence in the consistency and reliability of the character of God, and the complete truth and suffieciencty of His inspired Word. His preaching is bold, but never lacking in humility.
