  • Pitiful

Just heard the episode with a message for Stern‘s marketing department, that is one of the most pitiful displays of self-control, entitlement, and selfishness that I’ve ever heard. To the genius that decided to rage that garbage onto a social media platform, I think you got your answer, as to why you weren’t invited. Self-absorbed, yes, self-aware, no.

    Sad

Here’s a tip: if this hobby… And let’s keep in mind, this is a hobby… Makes you that unhappy, you should find a different hobby.

He seems a little unhinged. Definitely entitled. It’s pinball man…maybe take a break. Hope you’re ok.

  • Profanity, drug talk, and lousy rep of pinball hobbyists

When the one host brags about how wasted he and his wife got out at some bars and a restaurant, and then says they drove home, I was done. I’ve lost friends to drunk drivers; I don’t need to hear two middle-aged guys who ought to know better, bragging about and normalizing this kind of behavior.

  • Main show is great!

Love the casual pinball banter. The tribe multiball.... like the outlet for more voices but I prefer the OG

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

PNP 652- Aaron Davis Of FAST Pinball On Travelling Acroos The USA For Expo & ALL Things Homebrewing Pins!
Q: What can they do to make shows more welcoming and get more home brewers to come?
They should have vendor-like passes for homebrewers, provide breakfast and snacks, and create inclusive environments for all attending. Acknowledging hard work and giving homebrewers the opportunity to showcase their progress is crucial.
PNP 649- Glenn W. On Monster League Hockey+ Homebrew's Bright Future+ Squashing Beefs!
Q: What other machines did you see that you felt were doing maybe some innovative stuff?
One example is the Harry Potter homebrew, which began as a shell and has since gained significant polish and detail.
PNP 649- Glenn W. On Monster League Hockey+ Homebrew's Bright Future+ Squashing Beefs!
Q: What are some of the issues with getting that done?
A lot depends on the coding since most homebrews are coded through the Mission Pinball Framework, which may require extensive restructuring to port over to another language.
PNP 641- Spooky Bug Answers The MOST Important ? About Their NEXT Pin+ Don of A New Era
Q: Do you expect your next pin to be as reliable?
Yes, the next pin will be just as reliable, if not more, due to improvements and lessons learned.
PNP 584_ Deborah Tahlman Originally Aired Aug 13th 2024! NEW Intro!
Q: What's the weirdest thing about having, what's the thing you've learned or that shocked you, or that you got out of it, that you didn't expect by starting this podcast and doing this?
The thing that I've gotten out of pinball that I never expected was like how to maintain composure and to think through a problem.
