Since you can’t rate by halves, my rating is rounded up to 4 from 3.5. Overall a pleasant podcast. The hosts make interesting observations and put forward some compelling theories. They use a unique structure whereby they categorize discussion topics rather than discussing in a linear order, sometimes this works but other times it’s a lot of jumping around.
My only criticism is that they can be prone to hamming it up which gets them off track. I’m here to hear about Bridgerton. Also pleas... more
Howwww am I just now learning that the Podlander crew is doing a Bridgerton podcast?! I love their other podcasts and this one does not disappoint…I’ve been a Bridgerton fan since the beginning and am doing a full rewatch before season 3 part 2. I could not be happier to have found the Podlander recaps to go along with my rewatch!
There is literally nothing better than listening to this gaggle of people discuss all our favourite tv shows. This Bridgerton recap is exactly what us listeners didn’t know we needed. Also, the closing musical sequence had me cackling out loud, I was simply just not expecting it, nothing beats it!
Everything the Podlander folks do is incredible, and this is no exception. They are able to criticize thoughtfully and with so much humor. You won’t find a better Bridgerton podcast.
Podlander is the thing that has gotten many of us through the world collapsing all around us and losing all our freedoms and oh the pandemic. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this absolute ostentatious cheesecake of a show.
