Join us as we lovingly snark along with each episode, and feel all those feels from the early 2000's. The fashion, the storylines, the friendships, the MEN. John and Amanda are the best! I love their SATC and AJLT recaps - they take no prisoners! The Friday livestreams on YouTube are a great time - just like chatting with friends.
They claim to be fans of the show but they constantly get the quotes wrong and don’t know the proper names of all the characters. Mix that in with very nasal hosts talking about some bad politics and NPC chatter and you got yourselves Pod and the City. Give it a miss.
John and Amanda provide a reprieve for those of us mourning the end of an era. Enjoy your fav SATC eps with hilarious wit and banter from these two

Two longtime friends dissect Sex and the City and SATC-adjacent content with sharp wit, nostalgia, and affectionate snark. Episodes mix episode-by-episode recaps, hot takes on fashion and dating, meta-talk about reinventions of the SATC universe, and regular Patreon plugs for deeper dives. The show's vibe is casual, candid, and unapologetically opinionated, often leaning into personal anecdotes and behind-the-scenes chatter from the theater and pop culture worlds. A recurring strength is their close friendship and chemistry, which makes conversations feel like a lively, long-running chat with best friends who are deeply in love with the era and its such-and-such moments, while staying entertaining to both hardcore fans and casual listeners.... more
