  • Great Podcast!

I’m not one to always write a review unless I feel compelled, and this podcast is a new found favorite. It’s so relatable and refreshing; which you don’t always find. I LOVE how Liz keeps her guests in what I call the “messy middle” as they tell their stories; it’s the absolute best part and it’s the part that most quickly pass through. Liz’s desire to stay in that “part” of the story longer, makes for a profound podcast - one that has meaning and feels authentically fulfilling, embarking so muc... more

  • Real encouragement

Sometimes, leadership podcasts can come off as aspirational but unrealistic. Liz knows her stuff and is a successful businesswoman and leader, but she has mastered the art of still being a real person you feel like you could actually be friends with. Her genuine enthusiasm and curiosity comes across in every episode, and I always come away feeling hopeful and also entertained (did I mention she’s so funny?!) The guests are fantastic and she has a way of helping us relate to the real humans behin... more

Q: For listeners who haven't read your book, can you summarize the core premise of Group and why it matters for relationships?
The core idea is that intimate, life-changing healing happens most deeply within a group context where people are willing to be seen fully, disclose honestly, and participate in a controlled environment that supports rupture and repair. This container allows long-term shifts in how people relate to themselves, others, and leadership.

Consider what you bring to the table and how you can help others; focus on quality over quantity.
Why Affection Isn’t Enough: The Real Rules of Modern Friendship with Anna Goldfarb
Q: What are some of the things that just pop out to you as really important in friendship?
Affection isn't enough to keep a friendship active; it has to be sustained through proactive engagement and clarity of purpose.
Do you need a therapist…or friends? With Dr. Jaqueline Olds
Q: Why do you think more people are finding therapists rather than leaning on friends?
People often think of therapy as a safe option or don't trust themselves to give advice, leading them to avoid discussing their struggles with friends.
Do you need a therapist…or friends? With Dr. Jaqueline Olds
Q: What guidance would you give someone on whether to talk to a therapist or a friend?
If the issue is overwhelming and terrifying, seek a psychiatrist. For less severe issues, talk to a friend instead.
