I am a little late to “the party” but glad I found Phoenix Foundation. It’s a true fans conversation about the episodes. It includes commentary, show summaries, alternative scenarios, actor interviews, and little known connections to other shows. It is not about making fun of the show but truly unpacking it for the listener even if some Macgyverisms are far fetched...which they analyze. These guys have done their homework and it is fun to listen.

These guys are so in depth and thorough when reviewing each episode. Truly enjoyable episode to episode. Only bad thing I can say is too bad there are no more episodes to review. Great podcast for true Macgyver fans! Thanks guys!

I started listening to this podcast about six months before the reboot started as a fun way to visit the original series. I am about halfway through the original series and enjoy it very much.
Furthermore, if you are trying to watch the reboot, this podcast is a must listen. Patrick and Richard give a candid and insightful analysis of the reboot. I love hearing their humorous perspective on the show and would probably have lost interest in the reboot by now if I didn't have a reliable sounding ... more
