京都で町づくりの一環として盆踊りに関わる人、いわゆる盆踊り好きとは異なる立場から、盆踊りを通して、いろいろな話をお聞きしました。
2026年1月4日に兵庫県尼崎の塚口駅近くで開催されてた「はんつか初踊り」の会場で、愛媛から遠征に来ていた「ひかり@愛媛」さんと初対面、初トーク。お互いに盆踊りが盛んではない土地で、なにかしら盆踊りをする会場を増やすために奮闘しているあるあるを話ました。
京都大学の学生自治寮となる「熊野寮」では、個性豊かな寮生が企画したイベントが開催されます。その中に盆踊りもあって、私（ヒデドン）も参加させてもらっているのですが、2024年ごろからさらにパワーアップした感があったので、企画している寮生にインタビューしました。そしたら、いろんな寮生にも話が聴けて、若者の盆踊りに対するイメージも聞けました。
私（ヒデドン）が末席で所属している保存会の方に、なぜ外部の協力を受け入れるようになったのか？などをお聞きしました。
