I enjoy Hannah and Will’s enthusiasm for the show, and they have great banter and chemistry. But I find myself turning off each episode once they finish the recap portion because the town hall segment they do is so annoying. Hannah’s parents call in every week, and it’s supposed to be charming, but I just find it super obnoxious. Why does her dad have a sports question every week on a Parks and Rec podcast??? It’s not as cute as they think it is.
The hosts aim to stimulate a lively dialogue about the what-ifs and viewer reaction to various aspects of the episodes. while injecting personal touches and insight from their training in television production.
