Mary Jo shares her journey into advocacy that was triggered by her personal experiences after the loss of her husband. She initially volunteered at a nonprofit and gradually grew her involvement in patient advocacy.

I was diagnosed with three rare diseases, beginning with ITP after a long struggle to receive a proper diagnosis.
