Saw yall on YouTube and had to cross reference you on a podcast great that I found you just what I was looking for. I’m getting into writing pulp and fiction of this sort. This is going to be great for reference and entertainment.
These are two truly dedicated hosts with a lot of experience reviewing men’s crime and adventure books of yesteryear. Very informative about the major authors of the fifties through eighties. And they have an easy charm that makes their podcast a pleasure to listen to.
A pity that they haven’t brought out a show since last autumn because I’ve only got a couple of dozen episodes left to listen to.
Great podcast for vintage paperback collectors or those who like to read classic crime and pulp fiction. Well researched but not stuffy or academic, like sitting around a table listening to friends talk about books. I hope they continue to produce episodes as it has quickly become one of my favorites.
