Two people. Many, many games. One very good cat. Over the Tabletop is a podcast dedicated to discussing board games, card games, and dice games that play well (or not!) with two people. Because scheduling game days with more than two is hard, frankly. Join James and Erin as they travel through their games collection, go on theoretically-related tangents, and pat their very good cat, Solstice.

Erin and James talk you through the two player games. There's a cat. There's dice rolling noises. There's self deprecation. A great little podcast that I treasure and recommend to other dice rolling friends.
I was listening to the gloomhaven episode and it was ok. Sort of a quick rundown of Gloomhaven in a kind of haphazard fashion. Then they referred to the salvation army as a "hate group" Not my cup of tea, might be yours.
Thanks to this pod and Board Game Blitz, I have plenty of suggestions for our next family game night. I enjoy listening to Erin and James talk about each game and sometimes incorporating their cat into the mix. Highly recommend if you love board games or need something new to play!
Enjoyable podcast (: Always good to hear of 2 player games as they always seem to need more players!!
My girlfriend and I both love 2 player board games, so of course this podcast is great for us. The show is done in a play-through style rundown of games, as opposed to just being simple reviews, which is great. It really helps you decide whether the game being showcased is a good fit for you. more
