今回のテーマは、4年「とじこめた空気と水」です。この単元では、「とじこめた空気を圧すと、体積は小さくなるが、圧し返す力は大きくなること」「閉じ込めた空気は圧し縮められるが、水は圧し縮められないこと」などを学んでいきます。
水や空気、金属の性質を調べる「物のせいしつを調べよう」シリーズの第１弾となる本単元。子どもたちにとって身近な、空気や水を「とじこめた」ときの性質について、児童がもっているイメージや、授業の進め方についてあれこれおしゃべりしました。
