I love the relationship between Julia and the ever humble and down-to-earth Brandon. Guest interviews are friendly and informative and wide-ranging within the world mainly of Birmingham Royal Ballet and the Covent Garden Royal Ballet. The whole thing has a warm, no-pretences feel. I was delighted to see a new season had gone up. (I thought the pod had gone away with the pandemic!)
Wonderful to hear Johnathan Lo talk about his experiences as a conductor. More!! X
This podcast is such a generous invitation into the fascinating behind the scenes world of ballet. Julia and Brandon discuss life on stage with great description, humour and passion making a really enjoyable listen (particularly as someone who knows very little about ballet, this was incredibly accessible). Very excited to hear the next episodes and would recommend to all✨
This podcast is a breath of fresh air in the ballet world! Charming, funny and easy to listen to whilst asking the questions we all want to know the answers to.
Brilliant Podcast - I really enjoyed the back and forth between Julia and Brandon. It provided answers to questions I’ve often wondered about a performance.
