I want to thank you two for making such a captivating podcast. Justin's knowledge of just about everything OP and Jacob's wild theory crafting keep me thoroughly entertained while I'm at work. Most other OP podcasts I tried are just too much. I much prefer your format of simply two guys analyzing a story they love. I've actually finished and now relistening.
From drip checks, to tier lists, to biggest C-word and best boy/girl titles, I really enjoying listening to it all and laughing along. I... more
Oda didn’t retcon anything. He writes chapters weeks in advance….. (in regards to the Yamato stuff)
It’s just his way of story telling.
Moin! (It means hello in English)
I don’t normally write reviews but this time I really wanted to tell you both how awesome I think your podcast is! I am listening to this show for quite some time now, but because I did it on Spotify I couldn’t give you any feedback really. I am a hugeee one Piece fan and just love the way you’re able to analyse every arc and we almost always share a similar opinion. I also wanted to tell you that of course I have already told all my one piece enjoying friends ... more
I’m a long time one piece fan who really enjoys the series, but listening and rereading it with you guys feels like a fresh experience. Keep up the good podcasts.
I’m a big fan of One Piece and I love listening to the podcast. I haven’t read the manga but I am caught up with the anime. I love listening the to both of you talk and theorize about what is what and what is to come. I am excited for what’s next for the podcast.
I’m not fully caught up on OP; however I enjoyed listening to others go through it for the first time. I find great joy in listening to someone else enjoy this series knowing that it is one of the undisputed greatest works of fiction. Even after hurtling over their skepticism, as I once did, and still approaching the colossal story head on.
Also, between Jacobs absurd Theory craft and Justin‘s egging him on; creates a hilarious dichotomy, for at least some Semi-caught up. And Jacob can bring... more
I'm a big fan of One Piece and listen with/watch a lot of fan content with the series. Joygirl, BDA Law, and Tekking 101 to name a few. This podcast easily fits comfortably with those names in terms of anaylsis and passion. Looking forward to hear more.
I have been listening since the first episode and I really have been a fan. I like how in depth you get and you really take the time to analyze the story. This helps to make sure that you don’t miss anything. I hope that you keep it going and don’t try to cover too much in the episodes as the story gets bigger. I am also a fan of your predictions and how it is not spoiled.
P.S. My favorite MHA character is Mineta so there’s at least one out there.
