I found your podcast recently and I love it! I have been a nurse for 4 years and I totally relate to so much of your content. Please keep releasing episodes!! 😊
Recently I told my 2.5 year old that we should try the podcast "Sleepy" before bed. I told her it was a guy reading stories in a calming voice.
When it started, she said adamantly with paci in mouth: "No not this one! I need the NURSE one!" (I have no idea where this came from. Her only reference is Nurse Susie from Peppa Pig, and she hadn't watched it that day at all.)
I was game. I looked up "Nurse" and picked your podcast. She was immediately satisfied. She started "talking" to you both, oc... more
You girls are hilarious!! I love your show- currently binging it and can't stop laughing. I look like a crazy lady walking the dogs and laughing out loud at the funny stories and irreverent nursing humor- totally get it. Keep on doing what you're doing- please never stop!! Love you guys!!! Emily
Thank you ladies so much for talking about the real issues in nursing and bringing to light what we can actually do to improve our practice….. while also providing some great entertainment!!
As a CNA and nursing student I love listening and hearing the realistic view of healthcare. I would pay a million dollars to have one of them be my preceptor!! These ladies have hilarious stories and have great interaction with their listeners! I recommend them to all my coworkers if they need a good laugh. Keep up the great job! 10/10 recommend!!
These 2 are smart and funny and discuss real issues that nurses face every day.
Hi, I’m one of the nurses in the article you discussed on the most recent episode. Thank you so much for sharing our story!
If you want more details, both Marian and would love to talk to you.
ED nurses bashing floor nurses, that’s not the solidarity we need right now.
I appreciate what this podcast is trying to do. While it is a much needed “safe space” to share with others who relate, the hosts need to know when to draw the line. I find it incredibly inappropriate to spend 2 full minutes describing how disgusting one of your patients smelled. Come on guys… I’m sure there is a better way to explain the situation. Let’s be professional and respectful and not give others a reason to feel embarrassed or ashamed in front of their healthcare providers.
Every week I am waiting with baited breath for the next episode of this incredible pod. These ladies are not just insightful- they offer constructive theories about how to navigate, educate and excel as a nurse. I admire their moxie and intel.
When I need a good laugh or cry I know this podcast will guide me through. These are realistic nurses who share real nursing stories from real nurses. It doesn’t try to be politically correct or sugar coat the profession. I feel less alone and better supported when I’m listening.
My hubby and I are both nurses and both love the podcast! I love the stories, I love the interaction with listeners and I love the thoughtful conversations you two have where you are able to present two different points of view to a topic. This podcast is just like nursing. It has the happy, the sad, the funny (nurses have a special sense of humor *wink*) and everything in between! Thanks ladies!
I love listening to them. It’s like being a fly on the wall in the break room if they were on the same unit an din the same hospital. I’m a nurse and love knowing that others out there have similar opinions and thoughts. Thanks for sharing all your stories!
I’ve listened to a few episodes and can’t even continue. The first episode I listened to, these ladies went on and on about how a co worker was spreading covid by going camping with friends... another episode degrading an RN who is a new coworker ( who they explain quite a bit about their previous LPN license). This show is an example of nurses eating their own. Disgusting. Especially during these times, please support each other.
They talk about real nursing. They tell it like it is and give real perspective on topics. I would have never thought of bullying the way they described it in episode 1, but it’s so true. Happy I stumbled across this podcast.
