NRCOp 7 maart 1985 is er een bandje tot laat op de avond aan het repeteren in een kantoorpand in Rijswijk, als er twee zwaarbewapende mannen binnenkomen. Drie van de bandleden worden doodgeschoten. Al snel is er het vermoeden dat de bandleden slachtoffer zijn geweest van een vergissing. Waarom is er zo weinig informatie over de zaak te vinden? Zo goed dat aan dit grote schandaal veel aandacht wordt besteed en typerend dat de politiek ook nu nog niet thuisgeeft. Onthutsend ook die Interviews met oud ministers die een kijkje in de keuken geven van de staatsbelangen vs persoonlijke voorkeuren, zelfs een aimabele man als Hans van Mierlo bleek een egoïstische persoon die zijn positie heeft misbruikt.
