Patrick is one of the best basketball writers in the business. Excited about this Defector launch.
The boys are funny and the analysis is astute, but their main strength is being at the vanguard new verbiage and data sets. I’m eager to see how they start measuring the prop-bet shadiness of a particular game or player. “Kuzma was going extra hard on the glass last game, something decidedly out of the norm, which reeks of Bag-scrambling.”
Love the pod. A question for you guys: I am moving from DC to Brooklyn. I have been a die hard Wizards fan despite the obvious reasons not to be. I’ve always felt it is important to support the local team and have always resented going to Wizards games where the arena is filled out of town jerseys.
