Stop right here! The creators of this podcast do their research and tell the story with heart and emotion, I highly recommend you listen and follow
Interesting stories, completely ruined by Georgia fake crying and then laughing at really inappropriate moments. Same goes for the cohost who just seem to follow whatever Georgia does. Another podcast added to the won’t listen again list
Further Update; Every single time Spotify is mentioned on the podcast, I instinctively say, out loud, “SPOTIFY FUNDS AI WEAPONRY UGH STOP SUPPORTING IT”, ironic for a true crime podcast to be backing the company that *funds AI weaponry*, or AI at all, considering both of you are in creative career fields!
Fwends podcast (Kyran, Rhys, and Georgia M!) can confirm this as fact.
Update; sallyangus3010 and Mehidabel “reviews” clearly didn’t actually listen to any episode if they’re complaining that ... more
I’m a newer fan of the pair, but long time fan of Sammy and Georgia in their other appearances. It took very little time to settle into and enjoy their style, and I particularly like how they contextualise the stories. You really get valuable insight and personal reflections with the stories, which I believe sets them aside from other pods. They are charismatic, fun, but sensitive and insightful towards the subject matter and their guests follow suit. Thanks very much you blokes.
This is one of my favourite true crime podcasts out there!

This show blends true crime storytelling with warm banter and a casual, conversational vibe. Hosts Georgia Love and Sammy Petersen cover a wide range of cases—from well-known Australian crimes to international headlines—while weaving in personal stories, humor, and moments of reflection on victims and families. Listeners frequently praise the chemistry between hosts, their respectful treatment of victims, and the balance between sharp research and lighthearted banter. A notable strength is the extended, story-forward episodes plus lighter preface segments and Thursday treat moments that offer a breather from heavier content. The format likely appeals to listeners who want thorough crime coverage without a relentlessly grim tone, along with ... more
