I absolutely love this show y’all. I started watching Doctor Who last year and I was instantly obsessed. I started with 11 and went all the way to 12 and then started over from the beginning (with Eccleston ain’t nobody got enough time for all of classic Who). I am actually watching 13 rn and am really enjoying it. It’s not as good as 9-12 in my humble opinion but I love me some Jodie scronches! I am currently writing my own season of Doctor Who! It’s basically a giant fanfic project. I know it’... more
I heard about you for that story show
Very Good
These guys know their stuff and while I disagree with them at times no one in particular *cough* Corbin *cough* I still love it so much.
That story show sent me. Ur welcome
I love you guys my sister is scared of one of her episodes because she is actually three years old and I am 10 years old I love you guys and it’s so fun that actually I heard the episode that was scary to my little sister and it was actually scary to me but not that scary
It is so osum
Fun , family friendly , and has a great premise, and doctor who! I can’t gush enough about this podcast , it’s really fun going back and re-watching all the episodes with y’all, it’s been almost more enjoyable for me than when I watched them the first time. The timey-whiny episodes are also enjoyable. I’m excited for y’all to get into eleven soon, he’s my favorite doctor. The classic who connections with... Jason? (If that’s wrong I’m sorry his name isn’t coming to my head XD)are also cool, as i... more
What a wonderful, family-friendly and entertaining show. I had already watched all of Nuwho before finding them, but it has been a lot of fun rewatching the series along with the podcasts from this father and his two sons. They share lots of background information for each show and even talk about the continuity with Classic Who. I appreciate each episode even more after listening to this podcast. Their bonus episodes about time travel movies are a lot of fun too. Giving them 5 stars is not an e... more
It’s awesome!
That story show sent me but I love it.😐 umm
NARTHEX!!!!!!
I'm only a few episodes in, but I've enjoyed each one. I enjoy it mainly because it's not an in depth deep dive; instead it's a conversation between a father who has watched the New Who once before, and is re-watching it with two of his children who are watching it for the first time.
Some of the insights are quite impressive, and I'll never look at Willy Wonka the same way again...
I meant to give y’all 5 stars. Still listening. NARTHEX!!!!
We started listening to this podcast because our favorite one was on break and we needed something to listen to during our commute. So glad we happened upon it! My kids and I are whovians and we love to rewatch the episode Austin and his sons talk about on their show. Their family dynamic is awesome! They get along wonderfully and never “yuk someone else’s yum.” This is no longer just a filler podcast, but is now a family favorite.
Doctor Who is a show which has aired for several generations of fans, and even a couple generations of the show itself. There aren’t many podcasts featuring kids and their thoughts about a show which was originally made for the entire family to enjoy. It’s fun to hear the father/son conversations about modern era episodes. I would love to hear some special episodes covering classic era stories and those special effects.
