Kathy Grantの系譜の先生から存在を教えていただき、開催3日前に登録したPilates on Tour。バランストボディ社50周年の1回目、会場はSchool of American Ballet（SAB）。ニューヨークのピラティス史が交差するその場所で、歴史を身体で感じた1日。直後に受けに行った研修で出会った人から直接聞いた、ちょっと意外な話もシェアします。
英語の方が簡単な場合がある？！後から日本語訳を知って、逆に難しさを感じたこと、そして言葉というツールであり、武器・強みでもあるものとの向き合い方について話してみました。前回第7回「翻訳しないから英語で教えられた」の続きとなる、ちょっと短めの回です。聴いてみてください。
お客様は英語と日本語半々。日本語ネイティブの私が英語でなんとか教えられている理由を考えてみました。それでも小さな失敗は日常茶飯事。私がよくする間違いも具体的に語ってみております！
