To start with I was cynical about trying to follow the podcast and at the beginning it was difficult but now with all the translation and ways to understand the Kanji this is just the best
The podcast along with the transcript and supplementary materials on the website are super helpful. A fun way to learn without a traditional text book.
Yumi’s unhurried delivery makes these podcasts easy to digest. Perfect for “shadowing” practice. Each episode has a sensible amount of new vocabulary and kanji. Not overwhelming. Use the transcripts to practice reading. I’ve been an intermittent customer of TheJapanShop for several years. I keep coming back!
She really got a friendly, lovely voice. Love to hear it.
