The worst and most unprofessional interviewers I’ve ever heard. So bad I couldn’t finish. After the zillionth ”like” I couldn’t take it anymore. Sounded more like middle schoolers at lunch time. Embarrassing lack of professionalism. Really wanted to like it…
These guys are the worst interviewers. I feel embarrassed for the guests who have to deal with these babbling, un-researched, literally unintelligible “questions”. This is supposed to be an “industry” podcast, but it’s not even close.
When I say this was associated with DEADLINE, I expected something similar to THR’s TV Top 5 podcast - which is great, profession, & very well done! This is not that. It’s sloppy, the hosts are not good interviewers, and quite frankly, doesn’t live up to the DEADLINE name or brand.
These are hard-to-find long interviews with important people who do not often get the chance to speak at length and speak freely. PLEASE stop talking over your guests and stop with the incessant tittering laughter. I’m a writer of biographical profiles for legit encyclopedia and am having an absurd time transcribing quotes. I get the energy and the vibe but please think about stepping less on your guests’ sentences.
The laughter is so distracting!!! The hosts, especially the male host, needs to stop laughing right into the microphone. We can’t hear the guest over the laughter and it really takes away from the conversation. Also both hosts need to stop cutting off the guests and let them speak. The audience is tuning in to hear the guests talk.
