Even if the New 52 Superman comics aren't your cup of tea, you should be listening to this if you are a Superman fan. Jon M. Wilson has managed to take a group show and continue doing it without the rest of the group. He has good insight and humor about the material and makes me more interested in titles that I am not currently reading. He also is not afraid to tell you if he thinks a title is not preforming as well as it should. I look forward to each episode.

I wrongly gave you a 2 star rating when you really deserve 5. I am correcting this now. I really enjoy your show, you do not play annoying promos as commercials and you are actually positive with the matterial. There are few people who love comics and really like the new 52 stuff, you are the light in the fog of podcast. The new 52 stuff is in my opinion is a fresh take on the characters and they needed a fresh new beginning. Your show is not stuck on the past ideas of the characters. As John W... more

This podcast started with three hosts covering every Superman appearance in the New 52. Then one host left, then another, then there was a hiatus. But now the show is back. It's only one host now covering the trades instead of he individual issues, but it is still a very informative and entertaining show.
True, I do miss the "good ol' days" but I do appreciate what we have now. And if you haven't already, go back and listen to those old episodes -- it's worth your time.

Jon likes to talk about Superman. He likes to pick apart comics featuring his favorite Kryptonians, and I am elated to listen! He knits together continuity across the new 52 DCU titles regarding the Superman family. He is a fantastic guide to the new 52 era of Superman, and has a great grasp of past continuities as well. I just got back into comics and have really started kinda trying to keep up with everything Superman. These guys have got me going back and reading the older books in the new 52 stuff and its just great to hear people talk about the character that are huge fans like me. Really funny show and they keep it moving so you dont get board.
