I plan to watch movies, tv shows, and documentaries from the old westerns, i.e. The Searchers, The Outlaw Josey Wales, t... more

This is a rare podcast where it’s just such a pleasure to listen to whatever the topic happens to be. While it’s more fun to have watched the media being discussed, even if you haven’t seen them you can still enjoy the podcast’s reviews and commentary. Funny, interesting, educational, chill. I’m a non-Native person in the US and totally enjoy the perspective and research that goes into each episode. Favorite new podcast!!
Listening from Bay Area , California native.
I would love to hear more inclusion of “LatinX/A/O” Indigenous projects like “Maya And The Three” from Netflix, because people forget that us brown folks with Spanish sounding last names are ALSO Indigenous! Our colonizers were Spanish, Portuguese or the occasional French instead of English but we’re all from Turtle Island so WE ARE FAMILY! 🥳🥰🤗
As an Alaskan Native filmmaker who is a writer for Molly of Denali & a Producer for Life Below Zero: First Alaskans - I am beyond excited that someone is creating great content on our people. Háw’aa!
I love this show! Ian is a such a great host and you can tell he really does enjoy what he does. I love hearing things I’ve never heard before from the movies he’s dissected and I’m always learning when listening. His interviews are rock solid and I learn so much from the people he has on. Keep it up brotha!
