Jason does an amazing job throughout the podcast of letting you see behind the curtain–the highs and lows of independent filmmaking. Jason seems humble and authentic throughout and has inspired me to attempt this feat (though maybe not as ambitiously as 90 days!) sometime. Great podcast, Jason!
Jason’s podcast is one of the best I’ve heard on the topic of independent filmmaking. He’s raw, real and honest about his daily process which is encouraging if you’re an aspiring artist, of any kind.
This is an interesting behind the scenes look at this process.
.....this podcast is fascinating. I know nothing about Indie Films or writing screenplays, but as a composer of choral music I know about the highs and lows of creativity. It is fascinating to hear Jason descibe the same struggles and triumphs that I experience. I'm convinced that if you work in any creative field, you will find this podcast fascinating.
I’m biased because I’m Jason’s friend and we’ve been a part of each other’s filmmaking journey since we were kiddos but I can give this podcast a five star review for courage. This is Jason on display. This is the Jason who texts me encouraging things and reminds me of the less pessimistic things I’ve encouraged him with. He’s one of my heroes and deserves your ear.
