Music has been extremely influential to me as a wrestling fan, and it’s great to have a podcast dedicated to the subject. Andrew thinks of some really fun ideas for episodes, and the guests are entertaining.
Thanks to Music of the Mat, I’ve actually learned of, and become a fan of, several new bands.
I cannot get enough of this podcast. If you like pro wrestling or music (or better yet both) you will love it. It has made me a bigger fan or both wrestling and music separately as well. The discussion is fun, intelligent, humorous, and thoughtful. You will become fans of promotions, bands, and songs you have never heard of before thanks to this one. It is the GREATEST SHOW, no disrespect to ICP or the Oddities.
Great insight, amazingly technical analysis.
Not only is this a great idea but it's pulled off perfectly. The passion and knowledge for music and wrestling comes across so well. One of the best wrestling podcasts.
