  • Great Show!

Saw another review saying the host, Artie Mordello has an unusual voice. Since I’ve become a big fan of the show, I too noticed something familiar about his voice, but couldn’t quite place it.

Then it hit me the other day: “Radar” from Mash.

Thanks again for the great show. By the way, up until a few days ago, I was listening to the show on the Tune In App, but that stopped working. I listen now on iTunes.

Q: Talk about the song God Is Love.
It's about the distinction between the truly loving and selfless highest aspiration and the limitations of organized religion.

Write every day, I really do.
Mostly Folk Episode 737 Steve Gillette interview part 1
Q: I often wonder how much of a difference a $20,000 microphone makes over an old shore microphone. Does it really make that much difference?
It's always puzzled me. Interesting.
Mostly Folk Episode 737 Steve Gillette interview part 1
Q: Now, let me ask you, this is not a compilation of music that was recorded in the past, your songs that were recorded in the past, this is you singing these songs, right?
Oh, yeah. Yeah, many of them have been done by others...
Mostly Folk Episode 737 Steve Gillette interview part 1
