Bumper music and ads play at max volume, when the show starts the audio is so quiet it can’t be heard. This is an MLB production?? I’ve heard better shows coming from some kid’s basement.
I’ve been digging the show after finding it during last season. I’ve been looking for a baseball podcast to fill a void created a long time ago when Up and In shut down. I love prospect talk and baseball conversations that cover all of baseball. The crew here has been insightful and entertaining and I definitely recommend them. My one complaint is please get your audio levels synced up better. I have to turn the volume to max to hear the host a lot of the time but then their music or their adds... more
The content is great and the host are informative and well spoken. Love all of that.
The production is not good! One host sounds fine, one is a little soft but one sounds like he’s talking into a mic from across the room. Then the commercials are at volume 100 on the 20-80 scale.
I listen to this show every week. I’m a long time subscriber, but the production is getting out of control. I do have hearing problems, but the guest and host talking is mixed so low that I can barely hear them. In my AirPods, I have to turn the volume all the way up whenever the hosts are talking. I am typing this on 6/18, I can barely hear Jonathan or Jim, but the noise in the background is audible. Every hit, PA announcer, someone opening a fridge, someone dropping a pen; I can hear it all. Good content and knowledgeable hosts, but please, please fix the audio mixing… you have to turn the volume up to hear the hosts mumble over each other and then you get your eardrums blasted by an ad… seems like an easy fix but problem persists on.
