Not my favorite podcast, but I listen when I ran out of other podcasts for the week. Imani frequently misremembers things (even from an episode that came out a few days ago) and has bad information that she states as fact. I think she would benefit from taking better notes because it would greatly improve her credibility. It’s one thing to have an unpopular opinion, but bad “facts” are hard to ignore. And I appreciate how she can tie in the shows, politics, pop culture, and her professional interpretations all in the same sentence. Always such a good time listening to you!
Dang, seriously smart. Explaining trauma responses, disassociating, communication in a marriage—you got this. Still holding actions responsible.
The podcast is good but the ads make it unbearable. There’s an ad break about every 5 min for 2-3 minutes- it messes up the listeners experience on a level I can’t describe. Try to stack the ads in the middle or do somethinggggg to help your listeners enjoy the podcast.

The funny thing is she speaks as if she is the know it all of the region but she is so frequently wrong it’s laughable. I don’t know why anyone would take the word ... more
