今回はインストラクターが小笠原に訪問し、現地で暮らし調査活動やアウトドアガイドに従事される方々へ講習を実施してきました。
島でのアウトドア活動が「ウィルダネス状況（＝救急アクセスに時間がかかる）」ことは想像に容易いですが、島の生活そのものもウィルダネスと密接な関連性があることが見えました。
小笠原はもとより、他の島の暮らしやアクティビティの安全への取り組みの参考になればいいなとおもいます。
WMAが日本に入ってからもうすぐ20年、これまで「アウトドアガイドを国際水準に」を合言葉に様々な機関の研修に採用されてきました。このほど、栃木県知事が認定する「日光国立公園ガイド資格」の認定要件にWMA野外災害救急法が加えられるニュースがありました。
今回は、初回認定者6名のうち、那須エリアで活躍する2名の認定ガイドをゲストにお迎えし、この制度の概要や資格の意味、未来への期待についてお聞きしました。
