After cultivating the mind and preparing for creating something of value- we have to plant our purpose. Without a single minded focus - we won’t be doing any meaningful work. Once we plant it- we have to spend time to practice and help it grow.
We want changes made to our life and we wish to see fast results. If we pour tea in a cup that is full, the tea will only spill. We have to first empty the cup and fill it with new thought patterns, ideas and plans.
When trying to change something in your daily life, make sure it is measurable. Go easy on yourself but progress slowly everyday. Enjoy the process more than the results.
Let us slow down, and do things more mindfully, to change our routine, and learn to let go of habits that don’t serve us, and cultivate new traits and create a new YOU this year. Let us pray for health, wealth and peace. Happy New Year to all of you.... more
