While I'm not yet current on the show, I have really enjoyed listening so far. I'm in the 3rd season and the setting has stayed fresh, the direction truly wild, and the characters always improving. The show's style is approachable, with lots of tabel talk left in, allowing you to get to know the players as well as the characters.
Cthulhu based Mythos DnD?? Wel yes, I do believe I will enjoy the heck out of this show.
Seriously one of the most unique DnD shows going right now, it quickly became one of my favorites. And the cool thing is, it gets better the longer it goes on. The story, the RP, everything.
They guys are some of the most wonderful people I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know.
So do yourself a favor and come get lost in the world of Microphones and Monsters.
Only three episodes in but I’m enjoying the mystery. I’m excited to hear where the investigation goes.
Up there with How We Roll, and Ain’t Slayed Nobody. Quality show. Recommended. Like many things, the deeper you go the deeper the payoffs.
A fantastic blend of the traditional dnd campaign with a twist of eldritch horror. The cast is fantastic, and you can tell they really have fun playing their characters which makes this a blast to listen to. I never thought I would be into the Cthulhu setting, but they got me hooked!
