Where theatrical people play roleplaying games. Each season our players part-improvise a story in a new genre, with roleplaying game rules providing surprising twists and turns. Jump in at the start of any season! The story continues every other Tuesday; on the Tuesdays in between, Backstage episodes shed light on the game and storytelling mechanics behind the scenes.

A wonderful listen with players who feel like they're there to have fun rather than cater to a monetised audience. MR is my go-to for niche ttrpg actual play - the rules may read fine but do people actually playing sound like they're having fun? more
Sometimes RP from actual actors can feel a little aloof or serious but this lot are down to earth and all too happy to go off the silly end. There’s a real variety in the systems and stories for each “play” and I’d say there’s probably something for everyone in there. Personal fav character is Graham, the demon pretending to be an accountant in Vigil :)
Big personalities move through genre being silly and occasionally profound. Matt is an excellent GM- gentle and encouraging, guiding the gang in and out of trouble. Start with Lets Get Gideon, the heist series, then try Paralax series’ - my personal favourites.
So please to discover this podcast, great work
Clever, amusing and very atmospheric storytelling. I was hooked from the first episode and can’t wait for more!
