The Unexplainers, The Demon Seed and now this gem - all great!
Top quality stuff from Plympton and guests. Alex Lowe kind of channelling Nicolas Parsons is a special treat. Deserves to be big. The Carl Alonsi episode is superb, especially for anyone even vaguely familiar with South Wales and Penscynor Bird Gardens! Bears listening to a few times to catch all the understated gags.
John (aka Eggsy) is a comedy genius in my view. I’ve listened to him on numerous non-GLC things over the years from The Unexplainers, to his stints on XFM and Radio Wales, but this is where he’s really come into his own. Laugh out loud comedy, with great characters and great collaborations with other comedians. Get it in your earholes now mun!

Looking for a new guru. Look no further. Plympton is a master of the pleasant and surreal interview. If I could, I would cook him and all of his listeners a 17 course tasting menu with wine flight to boot and thank him.
