Q: What's next for you and your mission?
I plan to run more inclusive classes for various communities, develop sewings patterns that are accessible and inclusive, and expand outreach to schools, colleges, and charities, continuing to mentor and empower people to express themselves through sewing.

Q: Tell us about your journey to be a community sewing teacher.
I built on my experience from The Great British Sewing Bee and used that platform to travel, meet diverse people, and create workshops specifically designed for queer communities to express themselves through sewing, turning a personal passion into inclusive teaching.

Q: What first sparked your passion for what with the Manchester community?
I am very passionate about sewing; it started as a hobby from my grandma and grew into a path of working with organizations and ultimately focusing on community impact after appearing on a televised sewing competition; I wanted to bring representation and self-expression to the community.

Her involvement began with volunteering at her children's school and a PTA event that raised funds for playground improvements, which sparked a commitment to doing worthwhile work beyond a corporate setting.

Q: What can listeners do to support neurodivergent individuals in everyday life?
Ask respectfully if they're comfortable discussing their neurodivergence, practice curiosity and empathy, and avoid assumptions about what works for every individual; education and understanding are key.
